I’ve lived in Rickmansworth for the past twenty years and have three grown-up stepchildren and three grandchildren, who are scattered around the south of England and South Wales but visit often.
I am a new recruit to Radio Mount Vernon, having applied via the “Do-It” volunteering website only a few weeks ago. I have a wide interest in music and am currently taking piano lessons - learning from scratch since I retired four years ago - as well as singing with the Watford Philharmonic Choir. I also try to keep fit by playing tennis regularly at my local club.
I can’t see myself aspiring to become a DJ, but I have just taken over as Librarian, and I do enjoy visiting the hospital wards to collect requests from patients for the evening request hour.
